The Upcycled T-shirt Tote♻️:
An Inbetween Quilts Project
What do you do with your favorite T-shirts you no longer wear, but just can’t get rid of? If you are like me and you only have a handful of beloved T-shirts, not near enough for a quilt, or too precious to put in the mix with all the other tees in a quilt, or not enough time to make a quilt – then this is the perfect project for you! Quick and easy, make this tote in just a half day. You will be able to use your old favorite T-shirt in a new way, every day with your new tote.
“But I make quilts, not tote bags!” I totally get it. This was me, and then I created a pattern for a tote. This was way out of my element. I’ve worked out all the kinks for you and provided step-by-step instructions with diagrams and photos all along the way.

An exceptional non-quilt pattern that allows for upcycling materials and bring new life to a favorite T-shirt! As a quilter “only” I stepped out of my comfort zone when testing this pattern and must say I am quite pleased with the result. Emma has written a pattern that even the most inexperienced pattern reader can follow.

I enjoyed making the T-shirt Tote. The pattern was easy to follow and went together rather quickly. Can easily be made in a day. I made the XL size. I used a t-shirt both front and back. I also used some old jeans for the bottom of the tote.

This is a great pattern. I’ll definitely be making another one. I enjoyed making this pattern and it came together in about 3 hours from start to finish.
