Specializing in Edge-to-Edge Machine Quilting & binding Services

This is my 5-year-old playing with mommy’s new machine, a HandiQuilter Amara 24 with ProStitcher. We’ve explained it’s not a toy, but I let him practice on it with close supervision. 😊Heck, he might master custom quilting on a longarm before I do! Though I’ve been free motion quilting and ruler working for years on my sitdown longarm, mastering the stand up, machine moving version of a longarm is a whole different feel. I’ll let you know when I get there.😉

Edge to Edge (E2E)

Cost Estimate Example:

Multiply Length x Width x .027

(60 x 60 = 3600)

(3600 x .027 = 97.2)

The cost of your quilting would be $97.20.

*This estimate is only for E2E quilting. It does not include any other services or products to include but not limited to: batting, trimming, binding, shipping fees or applicable taxes.

*Review my pantograph design library before completing the form linked above. You will need to indicate your chosen E2E design on this intake form.

Machine Quilting Process

Start the process by clicking the button above. This will take you to an order form where you will select your quilting design and thread color as well as your batting preference. You also have an opportunity to provide your quilting vision and description.

If you’d rather set up a call, text me at 919-320-6191 and well make a time to connect.

What to expect after you complete your order:

1. I send you an order confirmation with final cost estimate.

2. You send me your quilt top. I will provide you the mailing address and let you know when your quilt top has arrived.

3. Loading Status – I will let you know when your quilt is being loaded onto a state-of-the-art longarm quilting machine.

4. Your quilt is finished and I will email your invoice to you. Once payment is completed, I will send your quilt to your return address.
It’s that simple!

Edge-to-Edge (E2E) Quilting

I have tons of designer patterns to give your quilt the perfect finishing touch!

E2E designs are the fastest and most economical way to quilt a beautiful quilt. There are thousands of designs and styles available. Choose your design from the navigation links above. Turnaround time to complete an E2E quilt is typically less than 2-weeks.

Batting

You can send your own batting along with your quilt top or you can buy batting from me. I stock a wide selection of Quilters Dream.

Bamboo Blend Batting ($0.46 per inch): contains silk, bamboo, and cotton. Luxurious drape. Great for summer quilts.

Polyester batting ($0.31 per inch) ): great quality and most cost effective. Lovely drape and breathable. No shrinkage. My favorite.

Wool Batting ($0.51 per inch): Light, warm, gorgeous loft. Machine wash and dry on cool settings. Do not iron.

*Other Quilters Dream Batting available upon request.

Backing

You can shop from my store for your quilt backing or you can send your own backing. Please make sure your backing is at least 8 inches longer and wider than the top so I can load it onto the longarm frame. There is a charge of $14.00 per seam if you want me to piece your batting.

Thread

My thread preferences are: Premo-Soft, a polyester thread with a cotton-like finish; Glide, a strong polyester with soft sheen. Unless you make a special request, I will match a neutral thread (cream, grey, white, etc.) to the lightest background color in the quilt top. Let me know if you have a preference on thread color.
